Davey MORRISON
Davey Morrison is an award-winning writer, director, actor, and two-time Jeopardy! champion based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Davey's films have screened at dozens of film festivals all around the world, including SXSW, Austin Film Festival, and The Palm Springs International Film Festival. His work includes feature films, TV, commercials, short films, music videos, stage plays, narrative podcasts, comic books, and more. Davey has previously worked for Oscar-winning production company Vertigo Entertainment in LA and has received support from The National Endowment for the Arts, The David Ross Fetzer Foundation for Emerging Artists, The Longhorn Creators Foundation, and The Center for Puppetry Arts. His writing has been recognized by the Austin Film Festival screenwriting competition (finalist) The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Nicholl Fellowship (semifinalist).
Davey holds a BA in media arts studies from Brigham Young University and an MFA in screenwriting from The University of Texas at Austin. He currently teaches courses in screenwriting, film analysis, and film production at Utah Valley University.
